The ideal spot for a weekend brunch in warm weather, you'll find fewer places that are more romantic to take a date. On the other hand, the food and service are rather average, so do keep this in mind. Reservations highly recommended.

The Boathouse is located in the eastern center of Central Park, just a short stroll from Fifth Avenue and 72nd Street. Enter the park at Fifth Avenue and 72nd Street and follow the traffic road to the right and down the hill.

Weekdays from 3:00pm to 7:00pm when vehicles are permitted in the park, you can use the Boat House's own parking lot. At all other times, we recommend using the Metropolitan Museum garage at 80th Street and Fifth Avenue and taking the free Boathouse Trolley to and from the restaurant. The garage is open 24 hours.
