NYC.COM CONCERT AND SPORTS TICKETS FAQ

1. Where do you get your tickets?

  • All of the tickets listed on our site are being listed by reputable ticket brokers from across the country. These brokers go to great lengths to acquire tickets to sold-out events from various sources such as fans who decide after purchasing a ticket not to attend the event. We are able to offer you such a great selection by pooling their inventory together to present a wide array of tickets for you to choose from. We monitor the performance of our brokers diligently to ensure that they are complying with our high standard of customer satisfaction.

2. Are these tickets real?

  • All of our tickets are 100% guaranteed to be legitimate tickets.

3. Why can't I purchase a single ticket?

  • Ticket brokers are often unwilling to break up large groups of tickets to provide a smaller odd number of tickets to a group of one, three or five. If you have a small, odd number in your party, we recommend you look for an odd numbered group of tickets and choose from that group, or give our customer service representatives a call at (866) 809-4709 and we will strive to meet your needs.

4. Are these seats together?

  • All of our groups of tickets are for consecutive seats unless specifically noted otherwise.

5. How can I get tickets for events happening today?

  • It is possible in some cases to get tickets for events at the last minute including the day of the event itself. To meet this need however requires extra effort on our part, and we recommend that you give us a call for these last minute orders at (866) 809-4709 to make sure we can accommodate your needs.

6. What is your return & refund policy?

  • All ticket purchases through our site are final, and refunds are not available except in cases where an event is permanently cancelled, including for example a sports event that becomes unnecessary in a playoff situation. For more information, please review our policies page at https://tickets.nyc.com/policies.aspx

7. What happens if I lose my tickets?

  • Sports and Concert Tickets are not replaceable so we encourage our customers to take great care not to lose or accidentally destroy their tickets. In such cases, we will not be able to provide replacement tickets to you. For more information, please review our policies page at https://tickets.nyc.com/policies.aspx

PRICING

8. How does NYC.com calculate its ticket prices?

  • All of the tickets listed on our site are being listed by reputable ticket brokers from across the country. These brokers go to great lengths to acquire tickets to sold-out events from various sources such as fans who decide after purchasing a ticket not to attend the event. We are able to offer you such a great selection by pooling their inventory together to present a wide array of tickets for you to choose from. We monitor the performance of our brokers diligently to ensure that they are complying with our high standard of customer satisfaction.

9. Why are your tickets above face value?

  • The value that we charge for a ticket is its fair market value, which is sometime higher that the face value of the ticket itself. The face value of a ticket is quite often not a good indicator of the price it would cost you to acquire a ticket to the premium events we stock. The work that goes into acquiring these hard to find tickets is represented in our final price.

10. What is the face value of these tickets?

  • We only know the price that our ticket brokers are listing for tickets and often cannot discern what the actual face value is of the tickets being listed for sale.

11. Why are the prices on your website different since the last time I looked?

  • The Ticket Industry is very dynamic and prices rise and fall as demand for tickets changes. If you find a price you are happy with, we suggest you purchase the tickets at that point in case the price goes higher in the future.

12. Why do you charge a Service Fee?

  • Our service fee reflects our cost of obtaining hard to find and premium seats. We work hard to keep this fee as low as possible and our proud to offer one of the lowest service fees in the industry.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

13. Where is my order?

  • In most cases your order will be shipped out the day you order the tickets. In some cases however, this is not possible, and sometimes an estimated delivery date will be given with the group of tickets you order. The ticket broker filling your order should contact you to give you an indication of when the item will be shipped, if the tickets aren't going to be shipped immediately.

The best way to check on the status of your order is to contact your ticket broker directly at the phone number or email address provided in your confirmation email. If you have any problems finding out the status of your order, don't hesitate to email us at help@nyc.com or give us a call at (866) 809-4709 and we will provide you with this information.
