Who doesn’t love a good cup of hot tea? Well, it’ll taste even better in a one-of-a-kind teacup that you made with your own two hands - which is what we’ll be doing in this special handbuilding ceramics 101 workshop on May 10 (6:30pm-8:30pm) at The WonderMart. Space is limited to 8 participants, so be sure to grab a ticket ASAP!

Local potter, Gracie, will kick off the class by teaching the fundamentals of handbuilding, then you'll be free to explore and play with clay to make a special creation. You'll have the opportunity to sculpt and glaze your very own cup and if time allows you can even whip up a little saucer or coaster for the cup, too! Gracie will then take all of the pieces to her studio in Midtown NYC and fire them. Pieces will be ready for pickup 4-6 weeks after the class ends and instructions for pickup will be provided during class.

All materials and firing fees are included in the cost of the ticket. Light snacks and refreshments will also be provided! Attendees also enjoy 10% off a purchase at The WonderMart during the class. Hope to see you there!
